A Walk Through Beau Rivage

Arrival Statement

In a marked break with tradition, no neon sign heralding the latest casino promotion distracts passersby at Beau Rivage.   Patrons instead are greeted by a sign of a softer variety, made up of seasonal southern flowers planted in gardens at the edge of Beach Boulevard. This outdoor "floral sign" is changed four times yearly to mark the beginning of each season.

At the entrance to Beau Rivage, majestic Live Oaks flank the drive to the porte cochere, creating a graceful canopy reminiscent of the entrance to a stately Southern mansion. Camellias, azaleas and evergreens nestle beneath the oaks, providing a lush and beautiful welcome to the resort.

Upon passing through the porte cochere, visitors to Beau Rivage enter the Magnolia Garden that showcases the stunning white blooms of 13 towering Southern Magnolia trees.  These trees were carefully selected from the lawns of gracious Mississippians to be shared like paintings in a museum.  This indoor arboretum features a glass ceiling with lighting specially designed to highlight the grandeur of the magnolias and ensure their continued growth.

These majestic Magnolias are surrounded by arrays of colorful flowers and evergreens creating an unforgettable arrival statement.  The beautiful floral arrangement is changed monthly, with roses featured in the summer, daffodils or irises in the spring, chrysanthemums in the fall and poinsettias in winter.

Guest Rooms

Designed to create an inviting, spacious environment, each of Beau Rivage's 1,780 guest rooms and suites offers a panoramic view of either shimmering waters along the Mississippi Gulf Coast or the historic district of Biloxi and its Back Bay.

Restful color schemes combine buttercup, wisteria and cornflower with gold leaf trim accents creating soft, soothing tones.  Wall coverings feature a range of florals, crested patterns and head-textured finishes inspired by the brilliant palette of famous painters such as Henri Matisse.  Delicate and vibrant fabrics are artfully employed as both window coverings and canopies for the beds.

Spacious bathrooms accented by Spanish and Grecian marble enhance the elegance of each room. Guest rooms feature such details as gold fittings, hand-finished wood and marble vanities, blow dryers and lighted makeup mirrors. Every room has a soaking tub separate from the stand-alone shower. Guests are offered an array of resort amenities including plush, luxurious bath towels and terry cloth robes.

In keeping with the world's most exclusive resorts, all guests enjoy turndown service and triple-sheeted linens.  For those traveling on business, each room offers data ports, multiple telephone lines and features an electronic safe to protect personal and professional valuables.

Dining at Beau Rivage

Beau Rivage lives up to the culinary standard for dining experiences usually associated with the world's finest resorts. Whether guests desire a dining experience in a romantic setting, or have taste buds in need of a little vitality, they'll find the right menu at Beau Rivage.  The resort features a wide variety of choices from an elegant gourmet meal to a more casual, relaxed experience.

Fine Dining - 5 Restaurants

Coral

Chef Peter Schintler brings his expertise and passion for cooking to Coral as the chef du cuisine. Here, guests feast on indigenous and exotic seafood as they gaze at the beautiful coral reefscape encompassing the restaurant. The aquatic surroundings are filled with thousands of tropical fish, sharks, coral reefs and undersea plants, which provide mesmerizing accompaniment to the dining experience. Chef Schintler combines fresh seafood with a classic French interpretation. The menu also features premium beef and game, with seasonal changes to incorporate specialty items. Coral features a wine-friendly menu as well as fresh-roasted custom blend coffees from Beau Rivage's on-site roastery.

La Cucina

Chef Vincent Signorelli and his energetic staff not only create delicious dishes inspired by Italy's famed Tuscany region, they prepare the entire meal before guests' eyes in La Cucina's exhibition kitchen.  With the kitchen in the open, everyone is a guest at the Chef's Table enjoying the sights, sounds and smells of a northern Italian kitchen.

Fresh breads and pizzas are baked in a rustic wood-burning oven on one side of the dining area while delectable Italian pastries are created on the opposite end of the restaurant. Chef Signorelli's menu combines northern Italian dishes reminiscent of the traditional country style and infuses innovative culinary twists.

Ta.Ke. Ma.ku

The name means "Bamboo Veil"  and the fare is traditional Japanese. More than 4,000 stalks of Malaysian bamboo were flown in to create the breathtaking bamboo veil that defines the restaurant. The cuisine is prepared in a flamboyant style that makes an evening here more than just delicious, but also entertaining. Chef Minh Huynh and his staff work from behind a sushi bar or Teppan table to fashion fresh fish, rice and vegetables into delightful taste treats.

Noodles

Noodles serves authentic dishes from Thailand, Japan, China and Vietnam as well as "American Chinese" favorites. Noodles is one of the first restaurants in the region to serve authentic Dim Sum, as well as Asian barbecue and a variety of specialty noodle dishes. Internationally acclaimed designer Tony Chi "celebrates the noodle" with his contemporary design that blends elements of traditional Asian culture with modern designs. The restaurant provides a visual experience with wide ceiling fans and unusual wall images including a floor-to-ceiling wall of noodles and spices in individual apothecary cabinets.
