 Several Gulf Coast Casinos are now open in Biloxi, MS.
After hurricane Katrina destroyed all the Gulf Coast Casinos, The I.P (Imperial Palace), The Palace Casino and the Isle of Capri. They have relocated onland generally in the Hotel complex located next to the original casino.
Boomtown Casino is now open.

Grand Casino Biloxi open

 Dayton Scoggins a well known artist has visited the Mississippi Gulf Coast area several times recently. Here he is shown working on his latest project. The City of Biloxi is having him carve some beautiful works from trees that were damaged by hurricane Katrina on Highway 90.

 BILOXI, Miss., May 16 -- Harrah's Entertainment, Inc. along with world-renowned singer and songwriter Jimmy Buffett, today unveiled plans for a new Gulf Coast destination; Margaritaville Casino & Resort on the shores of Biloxi. The Margaritaville project is expected to cost more than $700 million, representing the single largest investment in Mississippi since Hurricane Katrina.  Hollywood Casino Bay St. Louis, formerly Casino Magic, will open Thursday, August 31st at 11:00 a.m. much sooner than expected.  D'Iberville location recieved state approval. The Mississippi Gaming Commission approved a location on the north side of the Bay, located in D'Iberville as a legal gaming location Friday.
This will be the first casino for D'Iberville. A company called West D'Iberville Development LLC owned by Las Vegas casino executive Peter Simon along with two coast businessmen, Mark Seymour and Terry Moran.
