D'Iberville location recieved state approval. The Mississippi Gaming Commission approved a location on the north side of the Bay, located in D'Iberville as a legal gaming location Friday.

This will be the first casino for D'Iberville. A company called West D'Iberville Development LLC owned by Las Vegas casino executive Peter Simon along with two coast businessmen, Mark Seymour and Terry Moran.

A possible investment of $250 million dollars. Initial plans are for a Casino with 1500 to 2000 slots and up to 60 table games. The hotel will has an as yet undertermined number of rooms.

The 30 acre location will be one of the first seen by travelers to Biloxi from Interstate 10.
