2012 Mardi Gras Gulf Coast ParadesSaturday, February 4, 2012 Gulfport Orange Grove Carnival Association - Dedeaux Road, 2:00 p.m. This parade is one the whole family will love. It starts at Harrison Central 9th Grade, then North to Dedeaux Road, then West to Highway 49 to Ashley Drive. Ocean Springs Elks Mardi Gras Parade – Downtown, 1:00 p.m. You'll find this parade rolling through downtown Ocean Springs. Beginning at East Beach near the old Ocean Springs Yacht Club, the parade continues in downtown Ocean Springs and finishes at the Ocean Springs High School. The theme of this year's parade is "Let's Go Medieval." Pascagoula Krewe of Little Rascals - Pascagoula Beach Park, 1:00 p.m. Children dominate in this parade. Children will be walking or riding on bikes, wagons, shopping carts and skates. The parade will take place along Beach Park. Children with the best costume or float will receive awards. Sunday, February 5, 2012 Harrison County Saturday, February 11, 2012Lizana Parade – Lizana School Road, 1:00 p.m. Dubbed the funny parade, parade-goers will marvel at over 30 floats filled with some of the best throws in South Mississippi. This parade begins at Lizana Elementary School and continues to Cable Bridge Road, then North to Moran Road and back to the school. Vancleave Mystic Krewe of Pine Island - John's Bayou Road, 1:30 p.m. This parade begins at John's Bayou Road and will start with a tailgate party at noon. Pass Christian Timber Ridge Women's Mardi Gras parade - Henderson Avenue, 2:00 p.m. Watch everything from golf carts, bicycles and ATV's roll down Timber Ridge Subdivision. Gautier Men's Club parade - Highway 90, 7:00 p.m. This night parade begins at the Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College on the Jackson County Campus along Hwy 90. The parade will head West towards Singing River Mall then back to the college. Long Beach Carnival Association of Long Beach - Downtown, 6:00 p.m. Rolling through downtown Long Beach, this parade features several floats filled with an assortment of throws. Biloxi Second Liners Club parade - Division Street, 1:00 p.m. The parade route begins at Nichols Elementary School and ends with a block party at DC Bush Park on Esters Blvd. Bay St. Louis Krewe of Kids - Dunbar Avenue, 11:00 a.m. Another kid oriented parade, expect kid friendly floats and throws. Rolling through Dunbar Avenue to Hwy 90 and back, this parade is sure to please every child. Sunday, February 12, 2012 Waveland Krewe of Nereids - Highway 90, 1:00 p.m. The parade will begin in Bay St. Louis at Drinkwater on Hwy 90 and travel west in the east-bound lane of 90 to Waveland Avenue. Friday, February 17, 2012 Ocean Springs Ocean Springs Carnival Association - Government Street, 7 p.m. Beginning at the intersection of Ward Avenue and Government Streets, this parade will head east on Government Street to Magnolia Street. Then south to Porter Avenue, west to Washington Avenue. Then north to Government Street and back to Ward Avenue. Saturday, February 18, 2012 Gulfport Krewe of Gemini - Downtown, 2:00 p.m. Starting at 19th Street this downtown Gulfport parade promises tons of action. The parade route will head towards Hwy 49 and continue pass Hancock Bank and throughout downtown Gulfport. Moss Point Parade of Classes Association - Downtown, 3:00 p.m. The parade will start at the Southgate Shopping Center on Main Street and ends downtown. Line up will start at 1:30 p.m. Applications are available at Moss Point Recreation Department. Pass Christian Krewe of Legacy - Vidalia Road, 1:00 p.m. This is a five-mile circular parade route, featuring something everyone will love. From elaborate floats, horse and buggies to golf carts and more, parade goers are advised to arrive early for a great spot. The parade will start and end at Neco's Market Place at the intersection of Vidalia and Cable Bridge Road near Exit 24 – Exit North on Firetower Road to Vidalia Road, then east on Vidalia Road to Cable Bridge Road. Pascagoula Jackson County Carnival Association - Downtown, 1:00 p.m. This parade begins at Ingalls Avenue to Market Street. It will continue north to Jackson Avenue then south ending at Pascagoula and Ingalls Avenue. Diamondhead Krewe of Diamondhead - Community center, 12:00 p.m. The route starts at the Diamondhead Community Center, then heads to the Diamondhead Country Club. Expect to see around 30 units with some very detailed Mardi Gras décor. Sunday, February 19, 2012 D'Iberville North Bay Carnival Association - LeMoyne Blvd., 1:30 p.m. A float packed parade awaits you. This parade will roll through LeMoyne Blvd. in St. Martin. Then to Central Avenue in D'Iberville. Pass Christian St. Paul Carnival Association - Highway 90, 12:00 p.m. The parade starts at the corner of Davis Avenue and Second Street. It continues to Scenic Drive, turning west to Henderson Avenue. Then north to St. Louis, east to Church Street, south to Second Street, east on Second to Davis Avenue. Monday, February 20, 2012 Biloxi Children's walking parade - Biloxi Town Green, 11:00 a.m. The parade begins at corner of Lameuse and MLK Blvd. Then south on Lameuse and ends at the Biloxi Town Green. The parade continues south on Lameuse and ends at the Biloxi Town Green. Wiggins Wiggins Mardi Gras - Downtown, 6 p.m. The parade will start at the corner of First Street and Border Avenue. It will go across the railroad tracks to Magnolia Drive, then right to College Avenue, then right to Third Street ending at the Courthouse. Tuesday, February 21, 2012 Gulfport
Krewe of Gemini - Downtown, 5:30 p.m. This night parade kicks off in the evening with wonderful costumes, floats and other interesting Mardi Gras themed items. Bay St. Louis Krewe of Diamonds - Downtown, 1:00 p.m. Krewe of Diamonds parade route goes down Main Street, turns on to 2nd Street onto Union Street continuing to Blaize Avenue in front of the Historic Depot. Biloxi Gulf Coast Carnival Association - Downtown, 1:00 p.m. Considered one of the largest parades on the Coast, this parade will start on Main Street in Biloxi and will meander throughout Biloxi. Krewe of Neptune – Downtown, 3:00 p.m. This afternoon parade features double decker floats from New Orleans, several marching clubs and plenty more.
