Visit this world Famous, internationally awarded, botanical and historical wonder. Founded by Walter and Bessie Bellingrath family in 1932. This is said to be the one of the top gardens in the United States. Stroll through a 65 acre garden filled with all the charm and beauty of the Old South. Tour an exquisite 15-room museum home filled with priceless antiques. Cruise the waters aboard the Southern Belle river cruiser. Cafe and boutique and even a " pet motel" at the entrance.

Bellingrath Gardens and Home is located less than 1 hour ( around 50 miles) away from Biloxi,  heart of the Mississippi Gulf Coast.  With a vast array of botanicals and bloom tours throughout all seasons.

Bellingrath Gardens-

Totaling 905-acre , this estate comprises natural woodland and some 65 acres of planted gardens on the Isle-aux-Oises (Fowl) River. It is also a bird sanctuary. Many varieties of native and other trees are background for the innumerable flowers and flowering plants that are in bloom all year. Each season has its own special flowers but many bloom for more than one. There are approximately 250,000 azalea plants of 200 varieties, camellias, roses, water lilies, dogwood, and hydrangeas.  Visitors receive a pictorial map showing gardens' walks and principal features. Home of  the world's largest public display of Boehm porcelain.

Bellingrath Home-

The Bellingrath house, in the center of the gardens, is furnished with antiques, fine china, and rare porcelain; it is open to a few people at a time (daily tours). Since the home is located within the gardens, it is not possible to visit the house without visiting the gardens. The riverboat Southern Belle provides 45-minute cruises along the Fowl River. House, gardens, and river cruise.

The Riverboat Cruise-

This is a daily sightseeing cruise aboard the Southern Belle. Dinner Cruises and private charters are also offered.
