Spring Break Ready
by Staff
With over 100 miles of white sandy beaches the Gulf Coast stretching from Texas to the tip of Florida has so many spring break locations it's just to hard to list covering every College kids dream release no matter what their tastes. The Florida Panhandle is a favorite with Panama City Beach, contests, bars, and more "adult" flavored fun. While Ft Walton and Pensacola offer a still fun but more calm atmosphere, head further west to the Flora Bama line for a great time in a less crowded setting and take in some history at the Forts. Mississippi has been underrated sporting 26 miles of beach, deep sea fishing, island tours, and the clubs and shows in the casinos such as the Hard Rock may be turning that around. Heading to New Orleans, is often more thought of during Mardi Gras, but many young adults are finding out, there is no off season for the Big Easy. Hitting the Texas beaches you will find an atmosphere modeled after Panama City Beach with a setting built just to cater to the wants and wishes of those party goers looking to let loose. In the 80's it was Daytona, no other choice would do, movies were made, it was epic. Now the choices are so varied, even the most conservative spring breaker can find a moving experience through volunteering along the coast. No matter your Spring Break tastes or travels, GCIS welcomes you to the entire Gulf Coast, experience the southern hospitality, great food, and warm sun. Send in your spring break stories and photos..
