April Showers bring weather Alerts

by Staff

Spring has sprung and April has proven to be a wonderful weather month. The Gulf Coast weather held true to it's hospitality reputation for Easter events, and Spring Break thru out Mississippi, Louisiana, Texas and Florida. Spring Break Ready

by Staff

With over 100 miles of white sandy beaches the Gulf Coast stretching from Texas to the tip of Florida has so many spring break locations it's just to hard to list covering every College kids dream release no matter what their tastes. The Florida Panhandle is a favorite with Panama City Beach, contests, bars, and more "adult" flavored fun. The parade was green and great, not over crowded with a family atmosphere and a sea of that primary color that marks spring is on it's way. This ... [full story]

Mardi Gras 2010 feeling the pinch

by Staff

Mardi Gras 2010, came and went on the coast, and as true coast residents we attended. After 30 plus years of Mardi Gras I can honestly say I have seen them all. The good, the awesome, the drunk, the family ones, they are always fantastic. I remember my first Mardi Gras after Katrina. Not sure quite what to expect as the coast had been so devastated, crews had lost their floats, people were in trailers, and all monies were going towards rebuilding, I was a bit worried along the lines of floats or throws, or even attitude. But ... [full story]
